Comiquest
About
Comiquest is a comic book shop specialising in American comics, action figures and collectibles located in a newly developed former train station in the centre of Rotterdam. We designed the interior of this shop, in its unique setting under the arches of the old train track, with a very tight budget, drawing inspiration from the unfinished roughness of the building. Using construction site lights and raw, architectural materials like unfinished plywood, we created a clean, minimal interior with shop fittings including counters, shelving and plywood-framed office cabinets to contain the owner's collection of thousands of comics.
